Merchant Requirements

Running a program means you make promises to the partners who trust you. These are the requirements we ask every store to follow.
Before you start
- You are authorised to run the Shopify store and to accept our Terms for it.
- You have a working support email address. It appears to partners and receives requests and payout notices.
- You decide your commission, discount, waiting period, minimum payout and payout methods, and you show them honestly to partners.
Your duties to partners
- Pay approved commissions on time, using the methods you offer, and record each payout in the app.
- Do not change the rules in a way that takes back commission a partner has already earned.
- Tell partners if you stop the program.
- Handle partner data only to run the program, and keep payment details confidential.
Your duties to the law
- Follow the consumer, advertising, tax and data protection rules that apply to you. You decide whether partners are independent businesses, how any payments are taxed and what to report.
- You are the controller of your customers' and partners' data. The Data Processing Addendum describes how we process it for you.
Our rights
We may suspend a store that breaks these requirements, harms partners or uses the app to deceive people.
